Hernán Santa Cruz Dialogue: Promoting economic, social, cultural and environmental rights. Implications for development, sustainability and peace during COVID-19

We cordially invite you to the IV Hernán Santa Cruz Dialogue for Latin America and the Caribbean, which will take place on December 8, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. GMT-6 / Costa Rica (4:00 p.m. Geneva time). The event is organized by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), along with the University for Peace (UPEACE) and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. The event will focus on environmental rights and their interrelationship with development, sustainability, and peace in times of COVID-19 in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Dialogue will support the promotion of the Declaration on the Right to Development, which provides a vision of people-centered development, anchored in international cooperation and solidarity, which are key to building more resilient and inclusive societies.
