San José, Costa Rica, November 15, 2021.- The Inter-American Court has published its update to the 7th Case Law Bulletin of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights: Conventionality Control. This legal notion has been widely developed by the Inter-American Court in recent years and has become an effective tool for the application of International Human Rights Law in the domestic sphere. This update incorporates the most recent decisions issued by the Court on this subject. You can access the Bulletin here.

The purpose of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights’ Series of Case Law Bulletins is to publicize the Court’s principal case law on different issues of regional relevance and interest. The Court updates the series periodically and shares updated information via its website and social media. This update has been produced thanks to the work of Dr. Claudio Nash, and the generous contribution of the German Cooperation Agency, GIZ and its DIRAJus program, based in Costa Rica.
